# Social Engineering

After all, this is about a "tool" rather than a "method," so we’ll look at everything specifically as the first option. There won’t be a guide on how to find a mammoth, where to look, how to communicate, how to create an account, and the like. I’ll just suggest a few ideas that worked for me personally and for the guys from the previous (and not only) offer.

## Partnership (or advert)

Let’s imagine you found a KOL (key opinion leader, or influencer) who is into Polymarket. You can present yourself as a manager/marketer/SEO guy for the project (or even a Polymarket employee) and offer an ambassador program, payment for a post, whatever. Praise the project, praise the victim, discuss the terms, prepare documents, a brief overview of the project, request stats from the person’s account/channel, jump on a warming-up call with the victim (if you know the language) — in short, only your imagination sets the limit.

Then you can smoothly nudge the person toward linking to the project and say something like: you can click around everywhere, and to attach the stats and referral program you absolutely need to get a personal referral code in the dashboard (so in essence we’re not pushing the person to move a bookmark, but asking for a different action, although they’ll still have to do it, which raises fewer suspicions).

In this method, more than ever, you need to put in the work on the persona you’ll be communicating as. Tinker with the account, the backstory, prepare communication templates, make a boosted Telegram channel (if you work via TG), upload AI voice messages there (elevenlabs to the rescue), make some AI photos, set up a Linktree, and so on. For those who worked in NFT-scam direction, this isn’t anything new.

## Bro, you trade too? Test this out!

This method is different from partnership. In this case, we’re just an ordinary person, not some important dude in a suit. It’s better suited for victims who aren’t especially popular (why offer collaboration to a guy with 3 Twitter followers?).

I really like one backstory that’s built on the basic principle of manipulation. You start a conversation, chat about everything, then say something like: "I’m creating a new Polymarket account because I completely fucked up my stats (for example), if you want, you can give me your referral link. Extra money from commissions never hurts, it’s no trouble for me." The victim gives you the link, you register through it, and maybe even place some trades for show. After some time, you talk about the extension that gave you an incredible advantage and drop your referral link to our project.

Why do I like this backstory? We did a "small good deed" by registering a new Polymarket account through the victim’s referral link, and it will be harder for them to refuse us. By my personal observations, this kind of strategy can almost triple conversion.

## Where to find victims

The main habitat of Polymarket fans is Twitter, which isn’t surprising. That’s where the main announcements happen related to the "culture" betting category, and in general this social network is very tied to crypto. Go to the official Polymarket account, look at (or scrape) those who follow/comment, search for influencers by keywords, look at their commenters, their followers, and so on recursively to infinity.

But don’t limit yourself to Twitter and forget about Telegram. You can try to find their profiles by Twitter username, and if you find them, slide into their DMs. Also find channels, groups, and grab KOLs/traders from there. One very important thing not to forget: please don’t send a follow-up if your account was registered 2 days ago to a Nigeria/India/Bangladesh/other tier-3 country number. Buy an old account with a US number so there aren’t extra red flags on your first message.

There’s also Discord. It’s simple here. Look for servers related to Polymarket, chat in the channel/DMs, sit in voice channels, and apply the method above. Interesting fact: people trust voice more than text, so don’t be shy about speaking into the mic (if you only know Russian — skip this. Working the CIS is punishable by a permanent ban).

If you have experience working via Instagram, LinkedIn, or another social network — I’m not limiting you. Be creative and don’t restrict yourself in traffic.

A very underrated method is email. Using your brain, resourcefulness, and a bit of OSINT, you can dig up influencers’ emails and write directly there, then ask them to give you their Twitter or Telegram. Why did I put this in a separate paragraph? Because I have a unique tool that can spoof an email to practically any existing one (for example, you can present yourself as <advertisement@polymarket.com> and make the victim understand that you are **a real** Polymarket employee). Thanks to this, we earned more than a few dozen SOL on the bookmark drainer Axiom. If you want to send such a letter — welcome [to my DMs](https://t.me/InsuleanX). I’ll say right away that I have no intention of spamming hundreds of thousands of emails and wasting my resources for nothing. It’s worth writing with this request only if your victim is ACTUALLY interested in verifying you.

Price of the matter: **for now** free. I love you <3.

## Communication tips

The main thing, of course, is always to stick to the character you’re communicating as and try to put yourself in a dominant position while maintaining respect for the other person. It’s hard, but it can be learned.

You can and even should use AI in communication, but not by copy-pasting blindly. These days, distinguishing neural text from real text is child’s play, and that doesn’t mean you should ask the AI to make the text less robotic. Rewrite it by hand.

You can also always write in the chat, or ask the workers or the TS (me) in DMs. I don’t mind pointing you toward improving your backstory, helping you answer a person properly, or giving advice, but please respect my time. Don’t message me about this when you have **absolutely nothing**, or ask for advice on every little micro-moment. I’m not some evil egocentric asshole. I’m human too, and I’m one person, while there are many of you.
